I spent nearly a year out of work trying to take advantage of the opportunity created by a store closurec to move onto a new career path and it was hard, but now I am in exactly the right position that I would never have gotten if I had kept putting one foot in front of the other at my old job. I understand both the reasons you stay and the reasons to go, and I almost always find that leaps of faith will take us in the right direction.
