Weekend Recs

Hellooooo, weekend! I hope everyone has some nice plans for the next couple of days, which might mean running around town to start looking at Halloween costumes for the kiddies. But don't forget to make some time for R&R, and hopefully that means enjoying a couple of good reads. :D

Yaoi and YuriFor yaoi (and yuri!) fans, Silapa Jarun is releasing a free newsletter on the 10th of each month with author interviews, book recs, and all that good stuff: http://1happyturtle.com/YAY/newsletter1.pdf
No Going Home "No Going Home" is one of my fave TA Chase books, and the print edition I ordered from Amazon got here yesterday. I seriously need some time to unwind this weekend, and I can't wait to curl up with the novel and a mug of hot tea to do just that.

Does anyone have any good books they'd also like to recommend? :D

I just finished a cool book called The Protector by N. L. Gassert. The story takes place on Guam, which is definitely not the typical book setting. An ex-Army Ranger now working as a private security specialist is hired to care for the 23-year-old son of a wealthy crook.

It's more of a FBI thriller than a romance, but there's lots of great sexual tension and even a couple of hot love scenes.

Very different and actually a pretty cool book. Unfortunately, it's only available in print. It's worth it though, especially if you're already planning an order and need an extra item to qualify for free shipping. :)
