Food, heavenly food

It's my turn to partake in the Naughty Stocking Stuffers giveaway!
I hope everyone is having a safe and wonderful holiday season so far. I know I've gained some weight from just all the good food that's been floating around...with more to come this week. ^-^

I'll make this short and sweet since I'm helping my husband with his job's Christmas luncheon today and won't even dream of seeing my computer until later tonight.

Just comment on this post and let me know about your favorite food during this time of year. I personally adore (oh, heck, make that crave) fudge. No matter the flavor. But growing up, I always made a variety of fudge with my mother and gave away to family and friends. So I guess it has some sentimental value to it too. :P

Oh, yeah, and the prize you wonder? I'll give one lucky winner 2 of my Christmas themed e-books : enWrappture and No Ordinary Holiday. So don't hesitate as I'll be picking a winner on Tuesday and adding it to this post.
(it's easier to contact the winner if you graciously leave email adresses with your comments also).

Added 12/22: Thank you to all who responded. All the talk about yummy food has really made me hungry-even this early in the morning. :P I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Christmas season. See you in 2010!

WINNER: Congratulations Tam!

Also, orelukjp0 email me at marty (at) martyrayne (dot) com as I've chosen a second winner for my e-book A Gift Worth Sharing.

Merry Christmas!!!

Happy Veterans Day

Yes, I know it was technically yesterday, but today is the official observation of it (which was why my hubby was home bugging me instead of at work - lol) I hope everyone took a minute to thank a veteran today serving their country.

Now, since I was so distracted today from writing and promoting and such, I got to thinking about TV Shows. There was Queer as Folk. Will and Grace. Ellen. These shows were created around gay characters.
Then there were the oldies, but goodies which had gay characters in them; Melrose Place's Matt. Dawson's Creek's Jack, then later Doug (drool).
Oh, and I've gotten into Torchwood lately and there's plenty of lesbian scenes and the net is full of assumptions that Captain Jack is bisexual-- or gay depending on where you go.
And did you know that Mystique from X-men is actually bisexual?
Or that Sailor Uranus and Salior Neptune are actually a lesbian couple (though the American version has them as 'cousins')?

So here's my question to you. Is there a show out there that drew you in and kept you coming back for more because of the gay relationships in them? Is there a show that brings slashy thoughts to mind? (My own guilty pleasure is Roswell slash fics) Perhaps this will bring back some good memories or get me looking into new shows.

Also, a week from today, my Christmas M/M story is being released at Phaze. *happy dance* It's titiled enWrappture and is part of Phaze's Frost Heatsheet line along with a follow up to my Valentine themed Heatsheet, At The Edge

Last, but not least. An editor friend and I have created a blog called Worlds of Mayhem. It's a tool which we would like to use to help others, along with ourselves, promote books. It's not a review blog, but somepleace readers can go to find great reads. Our target is from fluffy romance to hot erotic romance, all genres welcome. In fact, I'd love to see more M/M authors eventually on our list. Come check us out and let us know if you'd like to participate.

Something to ward off the chill...

I've been really busy this weekend doing edits for my upcoming M/M/F release, Bonded Hearts.
Today is the release of my book, Testing Passion. But it's not M/M so I won't go into that (but it's available at http://www.phaze.com/ ;) )
Meanwhile, I have my Christmas themed M/M story, enWrappture, being released Nov. 19th at Phaze as part of their Frost Heatsheet line. This is a follow-up book of my character Christopher who readers met in my Valentine themed book, At The Edge (also available at Phaze)

So here's a little peek...

We first meet young, charming, and sexy Christopher O’Malley on Valentine’s Night in New York City helping his friends Michael and Todd complete their most hidden fantasies. This night helped Christopher create his own flights of imagination where love and bondage were once just a passing fancy, along with an erotic BDSM book series written by Master Stafon.

Spending the Christmas holiday on the east coast, Christopher finds himself without family or friends. That is until he meets little Emily, her mother Devyn and her uncle Mason…a writer whose pen name is Master Stafon.

Christopher is instantly attracted to Mason, even before he discovers the man’s profession. As Christmas draws near, the holiday looks more appealing as Mason gives Christopher the opportunity of a lifetime. To experience some bondage play first hand. Could this be the gift that keeps on giving?

Excerpt:

“Tell me, Christopher.” Mason faced him, hip leaning against the counter. “Who is it that intrigues you the most? Me, Mason Romero or Master Stafon?”

Christopher stared into his deep chocolate eyes, falling further into their grasp. His lust spiked higher, his blood heating. He had the greatest urge to fall to his knees and worship Mason’s body. To have those striking long fingers touch him, run through his hair, scratch at his scalp. He shivered with exhilaration.

“Would you be offended if I said both?” His voice was deep with arousal.

Mason moved closer, the corner of his lip twitching, amused. “No, actually it pleases me.”

“It…it does?” Christopher was surprised. Was Mason actually interested in him?

Mason leaned closer, there was only an inch between their mouths. The scent of brewing coffee mingled with Mason’s spicy cologne. Christopher’s nose had never smelt a better scent. It made his body tingle and his cock twitch.

“Yes, Christopher.” Mason closed the distance and brushed his lips ever so softly over Christopher’s. “However, Master Stafon is just a character. I admit, he’s a part of me, but not all of who I am.”

“I understand that.” Christopher swallowed hard.

“And I’d be pleased to show you my dungeon. But only if you are willing to play. What do you say? Do you think you could handle me?”

Christopher was speechless, his throat working, trying to find his voice. His nerve endings were jumping with excitement, his imagination running wild. He gave up and just nodded his response.

Mason chuckled and moved away. His lips curved into a smile of unspoken promises of pleasure. “Let’s see if you can, Christopher.”

enWrappture contracted

I'm really excited about my newest M/M story, enWrappture being contracted as part of Phaze's Frost Heatsheets.
It takes place during Christmas, however the setting isn't all snow and cold. In fact, the weather is sunny and in the 80's. The downfall of Christmas time on the east coast of Florida. But not only is the sun scorching, the attraction between Christopher and Mason are hot enough to melt ice.

This story centers on a character, Christopher, from my M/M/M Valentine themed Fetish Heatsheet (also available at Phaze). I thought it only fair that Christopher have a happy ending too.

enWrappture is scheduled to be released Nov. 19, 2007

I'm also looking forward to my M/M/F menage book, Bonded Hearts, to be released at Loose-Id Dec. 4, 2007. Two hot men and a sexy dragon who can shape shift. All the ingredients for a delicious story. I can't wait to see the cover. I'm sure I'll be showing it off when I get it.
