The first episode of Torchwood premiered on BBC Saturday night. I tuned in mostly because I'd heard some people talking about it and was curious to see what all the fuss was about.
From what I saw, it looks to be a fun little paranormal show, with a quirky sense of humor, but what I kept thinking through most of it was "mmm... Jack...pretty." *g*
The actor who plays Captain Jack Harkins, John Barrowman, is adorable. Even if the show stank, which it most certainly does not, I think I'd have to keep tuning in just to drool over him. And rumor has it that the second season will show Captain Jack getting frisky with Ianto. Mmmm... I can hardly wait for that.

The show is love, and really T.Davies should just be a God. Jack is a slut just so you know, but a very adorable slut. He's more slutty in Dr. Who than Torchwood to be honest.
I hope you enjoy the show.
I already have my eye on this one, thanks for the head's up. Having it air before all the new fall shows, might bring over some more fans, too.
oooh, I just found out that they are going to be airing Torchwood on one of my HD channels, so I get to watch it *doing happy dance* I may be behind in the episodes, but at least I'll get to see it :D
